Meet Pumpkin! This beautiful single mom-to-be came to us via a plea from the shelter. She arrived very underweight and VERY pregnant! I’ve heard that Pumpkin is a sweet, sweet girl who must have been someone’s pet because she already appears to be potty trained and she knows how to walk very well on a leash. The Humans haven’t introduced her to me because she is pregnant, but she has not been reactive to other dogs that have passed by or that she has seen through the window. I’m sure that we’ll be bestest friends once she has her babies and doesn’t have to nurse them anymore!
Pumpkin at the Shelter
My Human was really nervous, because he thought that Pumpkin would have her babies in the car on the way to her new foster! Good thing she didn’t though. She’s a really lucky girl because she gets to stay at Miss Joelle’s house! It’s like a slice of paradise there! Not only is Miss Joelle super nice, she has this great backyard with a big place for swimming! I guess Pumpkin probably won’t be swimming for a while, though. It’s still really fun to be there!
When Pumpkin arrived, Miss Joelle already had things all set up for her to be comfortable. There was this pool that was set up in the room. For me, I would have liked it to be filled with water… but Pumpkin got a lot of towels. I guess that’s better for having babies on?
Pumpkin in the Car!
My Human and Miss Joelle were expecting the puppies to be born right away… but they’re still waiting! Hopefully it won’t be too long. I can’t wait until the puppies are old enough to play with me! I love puppies soooooooo much! They’re just so fun! This one time, I got to lay down with 10 puppies and they were crawling all over me and we just rolled around for hours!
Anyway… I’m sure you know, Mommas and Puppies are expensive! They have to have special food and supplies and they have to go see the doctor a lot also. And they also need their… what’s the word? You know, the things that help them so they don’t get sick?! Vacations!!! That’s it I think!

Pumpkin Arrives!
It will still be a little while before Pumpkin is ready to find her furever home, but it’s never too soon to let us know that you might be interested in adopting her! She deserves a great home! We’ll also be needing fosters and adopters for all THE PUPPIES!!!! YAY!!!!
Pumpkin In Labor ?
Anyway, That’s pretty much all about Pumpkin I can think of right now. If you would like to donate to her medical fund, it’s much appreciated! If you’re interested in adopting Pumpkin or one of her babies, just fill out the adoption application here and someone will get back with you. You can also call or email if you have any questions!
Thanks in advance for any help!
